Version Control
Manage and track your API and workflow versions seamlessly in Fastgen.
Overview
Version Control is an essential feature in Fastgen that allows users to maintain and manage up to 1000 history versions of their APIs, workflows and functions. This feature helps you keep track of both live versions and draft versions, providing a robust mechanism for managing changes and updates over time.
To get started, navigate to the “History” section within your API, Workflow or Function editor. Here, you can view a comprehensive list of up to 1000 versions created, including the ability to filter and toggle between only live versions.
While you cannot directly edit historical versions in history mode, converting them to draft ensures you can make necessary updates while preserving the original version for future reference.
